03/11/2024 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Called out to site by TPD. Arrived and found active crime scene ongoing. Large breach into the rear of the structure, brick wall damaged and collapsed. Damage to electrical lines and fixtures in this area, loose wiring hanging out of bricks. Another hole into the wall and damage to brick wall to the left of this area. Front door has been removed from the structure. Both side doors are breached and open. Water is draining from the front door of the home. TEP, Southwest Gas, and City of Tucson Water were called to disconnect utilities. TEP responded and reviewed the meter and panel boxes near the breach into the structure. It was determined they serve the parcel to the west, 3381 and 3383 N Richey Bl through a series of conduit to that structure. Electric was turned off and locked to 3395 at the panel box at the front of the home by TEP. City of Tucson Water responded and turned water off to the structure at the meter. Southwest Gas responded and locked off gas at the meter. Phone call was placed to the owner but unable to reach the owner. Contractors were called to secure the structure. Front door was boarded and other doors screwed shut. Fence was installed at the rear to block off the hole into the rear of the structure. Structure was posted with Red Tag - Unsafe to Occupy. Permits shall be required for repairs. -VM
