Had a fire next door and smoke entered at the ceiling areas on the south side of the unit. There is no fire damage and smoke detector were activated during the fire. The tenant was home and no force entry. The electrical was left on and the gas was removed and turned back on. The windows were opened to let the smoke and fresh air come into the unit. The tenant will remain in the unit and will be closing the case at this time. SWG left the gas off due to the line has a leak. Did talk to the property manager to let her know of the gas leak and will be calling a plumber. Did let her know that a permit will be required to have the gas turned back on with a pressure test. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV. |
