03/21/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation Went to the site due to T.P.D. was on site on Monday and found people in the house and stated that they were cleaning. Did advise that no one should be in the house due to the owner of the property appears to have died. Not able to find some responsible for the property. T.P.D. did go back and removed the people from the property. Did find the door in the carport area has been opened, the 2-windows in the rear of the house by the pool have also been opened. The bathroom window in the rear has also been opened. Did call Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the property secured. While securing the door in the carport, the neighbor across the street advised that someone was on the roof. Did find 2-people on the roof and were coming from inside the house and getting out to leave the property. Did enter the house and found a ladder to the bathroom where a skylight has been busted to enter through the roof into the house. The ladder was removed from the house and the skylight was covered with plywood. Had to re-post the Do Not Enter back up due to have been removed. The N.O.V. to Vacate was still posted. Did check the neighbors electrical box and did find burning on the panel where grounding out when adding the extension cord to the panel on one of the breakers. Did re-secure the dead front in the panel. Did take the trash and recycle containers from the property and took to 10th Ave. and 22nd St. Did place a lock on the house side to turn the water off due to put back on.
03/28/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation Received a call that people are in the rear yard. Arrived and all is secured with checking all openings. Did not find anyone on the property. All the posting are still in place. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
