Discussed homeless people on property and fence being knocked down. Registered Agent states he will have a Landscaper go over to the property remove all the weeds and re-install the fence. Advised him to complete a NO TRESPASSING form online with the City of Tucson Police. He requested I give them 1 wk to have everything taken care of.
07/23/2025 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Completed Followed up. Property even worse! Owner had promised to clean up and monitor property. Stated he was working with the building dept to get permits. Checked PRO TC-COM-1122-00152 FEES ARE DUE FOR A TI and T22CM01503 - Commercial demo of interior walls. Permit expired.... (walls were demo-ed).... Found building had 4 doors opened. Appears homeless are entering the building. Exterior has tall grass and weeds, refuse and graffiti. Will move forward with bid to have lot cleaned up and owner billed for the cost of securement and cleanup. Called owner on 7/11/23 regarding the state of the property and let him know we would be securing the building and billing him for the cost of securement.
08/29/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Completed Vacant commercial property found open again.... Called for board up again. While on site the residents in the area reported that the homeless continue to come to the property at night. Wanted to know when the property was going to be cleaned up Let them know I was doing the 30 day process and under this process I was currently out for bid to have the lot cleaned up.
03/01/2024 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Passed All refuse and over grown vegetation was removed off the entire property via contractor. The porta potty was removed by the vendor.
