03/09/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation The vehicles are going past the middle of the street to go around the 5th wheel. Both did sign the citation at this time and will mail the owner of the property his citation. The extension cord and the water hose were both remove while on site. The person in the 5th wheel is moving items out of the 5th wheel and working on getting a vehicle to move the 5th wheel from the property. Will submit the citation for process for the arraignment on 4-13-23.
03/09/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation Went to the site with inspector Aaron and met with the tenant of the property and the person staying in the 5th wheel. The tenant was advised to remove the extension cord from the window going into the living room area and the water hose connected to the hose bibb in the front of the house. The tenant started to argue that I needed to give 7 days and was advised by a attorney. Did give the N.O.V. to Vacate and she was trying to say she is going to appeal the Notice and let her know that she has that right. The tenant was trying to keep the extension cord until he moves out and told no due to the hazard of the outlet. Did go back to the truck and called T.P.D. to the site due to the tenant was arguing the N.O.V. to Vacate and was also advised that a citation will be issued to both plus the owner of the property. Did also ask the person in the 5th wheel is name and he refused to give his name. Did go to the truck and started the write the citation to the tenant and checked on the codes to be used. When T.P.D. showed, 4-people were removed from the 5th wheel and ID was checked and one male is a know drug dealer. The tenant stated that she didn't know them but was advised to the tenant that she is responsible for the people on the property and could be cited for issues on the property. Did go over that the sidewalk is blocked, the 5th wheel goes into the street and the visibilty triangle is for the corner of the street can not be met due to it blocks the view of the corner. T.P.D. did advised that he could call for a tow truck at this time due to the hazards of the trailer going into the street.
05/09/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation The 5th wheel is still on site and people are inside the 5th wheel. The extension cord is connected to the light fixture on the front porch and the water is connected with a house at the hose bibb. Took pictures due to have court today at 10:30 am. RV.
08/04/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Completed Went to the site due to have court on 8-8-2023 at 9:30 am. The 5th wheel has been moved off the property and the area is cleaned. Will wait for the court date due to will be asking for fines. RV.
08/09/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Passed The owner of the 5th wheel has been fined and will be closing the case at this time. The area has been cleaned and the vehicles and the 5th wheel are all removed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
