On site at commercial building/apartment fire unit #136. At this time tenant and/or emergency personnel were no longer on scene. The property manager who resides on the property was able to go over the details during the initial inspection. It was observed that unit # 136 sustained extensive fire damage on the interior. There is significant charring and soot accumulation on the ceilings and upper wall surfaces. Sections of drywall compromised and peeling. There is heavy smoke damage. Debris and fire-damaged materials are scattered throughout the unit. There are also inspection holes in the ceiling and wall in the living room area. Fire was confined to this unit. Property manager secured and signed indemnification forms. All repairs /replacements must be done by a licensed contractor. Permits required within 60 days for any structural, electrical or plumbing repairs. Electricity was terminated by TEP prior to fire. NOV handed to property manager 'Do not Enter" sign placed on window. |
