02/01/2025 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Called out to site by TFD. Fire in kitchen of unit 7206, due to food on stove. Smoke damage to walls, ceiling, cabinets, appliances and other areas. Drywall and structure did not burn. Fire sprinkler activated and put fire out before it spread, saving the structure. Water damage to light fixture in kitchen, needs replaced. Repairs to unit required with a Commercial Addition/Alteration permit. Power off to unit at main disconnect by TFD upon arrival. A licensed electrician shall review all electrical, replace damaged components, and provide a report to Code Enforcement prior to re-energizing power. A re-inspection is required by Code Enforcement to lift condemnation. Unit was posted Unsafe to Occupy. Unit 7105 was reported for water intrusion. Inspected, found no visible water intrusion into the unit. No water visible in the HVAC register, light fixtures, vents. Tenant states water came through where she thinks was from the floor in bathroom. But there was no water at this time. Breaker panel is dry and nothing tripped. TFD had disconnected power prior to arrival. Management restored power for this unit and no action taken at 7105. -VM
