02/12/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial Completed ON SITE WITH BANN THAI ASIAN OWNER, ERIC POST, TPD, TEP AND THE STRIP MALL MAINTENANCE WORKER. A VEHICLE IMPACTED AND ESTIMATED 10X12 AREA OF THE FRONT OF THE COMMERCIAL BLDG UNIT 100. CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE STEEL FRAMING AND DESTROYING THE GLASS TO THE FRONT ENTRY AND SURROUNDING AREA. A 3X5 LOWER PAYNE WAS ALSO DESTROYED. AN INTERIOR WALL WAS DAMAGED. THE WALL WAS PULLED FROM THE CEILING. THE WALL WAS NOT LOAD BEARING. WATER WAS POURING FROM INSIDE THE BUILDING AS A PIPE HAD BEEN DAMAGED FROM THE VEHICLE IMPACT. THE AREA EFFECTED BY THE IMPACT HAD MULTIPLE ELECTRICAL WIRES THAT WERE PULLED FROM THE WALL AND CEILING. THE WATER THAT WAS COMING FROM INTERIOR OF THE BUILDING WAS NEAR ELECTRICAL DEVICES. THE BUILDING HAD AN ESTIMATED 2 INCES OF WATER ON THE FLOOR. INCLUDING IN THE BACK STORAGE AREA BY THE ELECTRICAL PANEL/BREAKERS. THE STRIP MALL WORKER WAS ABLE TO STOP THE WATER FLOW. THE OWNER, ERIC POST, DISCONNECTED POWER TO THE BUILDING FROM THE BREAKERS. TEP LOCKED THE MAIN OUTSIDE OF THE PROPERTY. PERMITS WILL BE NEEDED FOR REPAIRS AND AN ELECTRICAL RECONNECT TO ENSURE THAT THERE ARE NO ELECTRICAL HAZARDS.
