Arrived and the fire was still active and were checking for hot spots. The property is a UHAUL rental for storages through out the property. The fire was in storage lockers D 63-75, D 76-88, D 89-100. The fire investigators were on site checking for cause. The fire burned through the wood frame roof in the units of D 63 -88 with damage to the storage of the different units. The metal siding that separates the unit has been damaged to several units. Some doors have been burned and have worped and some removed form the walls due to were loose and falling. Does have lighting on the ceiling area and has been damaged. The units of D 63-75, D 76-88 have been placard with Do Not Enter on the front doors to not allow the people into the area due to the amount of damage to the area. Did meet with the management and advised that the people will need to get permission to enter the area with the management only if they are going to remove any items from the area. The people can not come in on there own and will have to be let into the area with the management. The manager signed the paperwork on site. Once the investigation is complete the manager will lock the doors to the area being blocked off to the public. RV. |
