02/05/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and the units were still on site and was checking for hot spots. The fire investigators were on site and checking for cause. The fire was in the bedroom going into the hallway on the second floor. The fire burned the window, doors, drywall, electrical and contents in the area. The bathroom has some burning on the drywall and door. The electrical was removed at the meter and the gas was removed to the building due to not able to separate from the other units. The tenants were not able to be found at this time. The management gave permission to call the City of Tucson contractor to the site to secure the unit. The bottom floor has water dripping from the ceiling in the kitchen area. The drywall was pulled down in the bedroom and checked for fire in the attic with no fire in the attic area and no damage to the wood trusses. The walls and ceilings have heavy smoke damage through out where not burned. The district manager gave permission to call the City of Tucson contractor to secure the unit. Called Arcaiden Industries to the site to secure the house. Did call Biff Baker Fence to the site to secure the units that have been ordered to be vacant due to smoke damage or damage to the drywall. Did call inspector Lopez to the site to assist the units security. RV.
