02/01/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and all the units still on site and cleaning up. The fire investigators on site checking for cause. The fire started in the wood frame storage room with a washer and dryer. The water heater was in the same room across. The fire carried into the house through the roof area following the ceiling height. The gas and the electrical were removed at the meters. The wood studs and wood siding have burned in the upper areas or the storage room. There was a room on the north side of the storage room and that has burning on the drywall ceiling with heavy smoke damage to the room. The other rooms in the house have medium smoke damage but no fire damage. The kitchen was next to the room and the fire stopped where the door is in-between the room on the north going into the kitchen. The gas line was involved in the fire area in the storage room. The owner gave permission to call the City of Tucson contractor to the site to have the house secured due to not able to secure the house. The owner signed the paperwork on site. Did post the Do Not Enter on the front window and on the electrical panel. The Recross was on site assisting for placement. The owner will secure the house when done with the Redcross. Called Arcaiden Industries to have the property secured. RV.
