I let him know he needed to leave. The the back metal gate was bent, the back door opened and front door opened. The posting was folded up so it cold not be seen. Man on site proceed to argue with me. I let the man know I would be contacting the Police. I walked away. The man walked inside the the house came out with an arm load full of stuff and left. Contacted Arcadia to resecure house. 1-3x5 gate 2 3x7 door pin 1-misc labor debris removal |

| 08/05/2026 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up | In Violation | Upon inspection, the residence was found to be occupied by a squatter. TPD removed man from the property. 3 generators, multiple extension cords were found throughout the residence. Electrical svc was disconnected at the service drop. There appeared to be evidence of attempted tampering with the electrical svc at the utility pole. This condition was reported to TEP. The residence was partially boarded. Arcadia was contacted to re-secure the property. SWG disconnected gas service. TPD located the property owner's contact information. I spoke with the owner by telephone regarding the property's condition and advised that it constitutes a vacant nuisance property. The owner was informed that a NOV and a citation would be issued. The property contains 3 junk motor veh, 3 motorcycles, refuse, and stored materials throughout the lot. Vacant properties may not be used for storage. The owner is required to remove all jmv’s, motorcycles, debris, refuse, and stored materials from both the interior and exterior of the property. The owner was advised that the residence may not remain boarded for more than 180 days. All required electrical permits must be obtained before repairs are completed. Failure to obtain permits and to bring the property into compliance may result in additional enforcement action. The owner stated an electrical permit had been submitted; however, a review of permitting records found no permit application for the property. The owner was advised that the property is a public nuisance and negatively affects the surrounding community. Due to the owner's failure to maintain the property and correct the violations, a citation will be issued. Completed a demonic and sent to the owner. |
