Had fire in unit 2536 and got into the attic. 2534 has smoke damage and holes in the ceilings to check for fire in the attic. The gas was removed in the alley due to the amount of fire damage. The electrical was removed at the pole due to the amount of damage to the wood framing of built up roof. This is part of a duplex and both units are being condemned. The unit is able to be locked with keys and the tenant will be locking the unit once the Redcross is completed. The unit will be posted Do Not Enter and the owner signed the paperwork on site. The Redcross has been called to the site for placement. Has smoke damage where a hole leaked into the unit. All the items of the tenant have not been damaged by the fire but will have smoke damage. The tenants did ask if the dogs can remain on site and was advised as long as the dogs have food and water. RV. |
