Arrived and all the units have cleared the site and the house has been locked. Did call the owner and they have left the site going back home. The son was living in the house and left the site. Was not able to enter the house to check the damage. The fire started on the rear porch and a total lost. The fire enter the house through the windows in a bedroom, bathroom and a kitchen area. The fire burned into the house with sever damage to the house and entered into the attic area. The gas was removed at the meter and the electrical was removed at the pole due to the service drop was involved in the fire from the porch. The main electrical panel is loose off the wall from the masonry wall on the rear of the house due to was involved in the fire. Did the posting of Do not Enter on the front of the house window and left the N.O.V. to Vacate and N.O.V. permits required on the metal security door in the front. The roof has holes in the roof to place equipment in the attic area to help put the fire out. The roof is a built up wood frame roof with hips on ends and may require to be removed and replaced with new. |
