Several individuals are on the property and they told me that they scrap metal to earn money. There is also a tarp attached to the house that they explained is used for shading. I explained to them that is not authorized and I asked them to remove it. The owner pulled up ten minutes after my arrival and I explained to him the situation. I gave him my recommendations and my business card. He said that he would comply and I told him I would be sending him a notice to abate all the violations. I also asked him if he was doing work on the property and he said no. There are tools laying around and a particle board door that reads "shop" in red letters on it so I suspect this is where they are doing work. |
