On 01-04-2023, I notified maint supv of issues brought up. On 01-09-2023, I called the listed number for the complainant. She stated she is a family member who handles the affairs of the tenant, and that the apartment complex moved the tenant out of unit 194 about a month ago. She was unaware if unit 194 still had minimum housing violations and could not provide me access to it. She brought up a possible gas leak from a month ago and she does not know if the complex ever fixed it. I explained to her on more than one occasion to call Southwest Gas if she feels there is still an active leak. I explained Code Enforcement cannot enter the unit without someone providing us access to assess for violations and as such this case will be closed. I did notify the maint supv and left a message for the office to advise of the allegation of a gas leak. No further action will be taken and this case will be closed. -VM |
