ADA Ramp Pour - Oremus materials delivered 2.5 yards of material to pour the second ADA ramp at station 123+79 along the west side of Wingate. The approved 3000 PSI mix was placed in an area that was demolished due to being existing sidewalk. The backstop was poured earlier in the day in order to avoid being a monolith pour. Therefore, forms were not necessary because the area was encased by existing sidewalk, curb, and new backstop. The subgrade had been dug out and tested for compaction with a metal probe. The concrete was placed and face of the new wings and landing for the ADA ramp were trowel finished, stiff brush finished and a curing compound was sprayed evenly to finish. The truncated domes were placed according to the manufacturer's specifications. |
