VISITED SITE, I FOUND THE PROPERTY AT 510 N CHEROKEE TO BE AN EXISITING APARTMENT BUILDING. I FOUND NO PALLETS BLOCKING THE PROPERTY OR SIDEWALK AT THIS ADDRESS. HOWEVER A NEW DUPLEX WAS BEING BUILT NEXT DOOR AT 512 N CHEROKEE AND THERE WAS CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS THRU OUT THE FRONT YARD AREA. I LATER LOOKED UP THE ADDRESS AND FOUND THERE IS A PERMIT ISSUED IN EARLY 2022, I CONTACTED THE OWNER AND INFORMED HIM THAT I TECHNICALLY DID NOT HAVE A COMPLAINT ON HIS PROPERTY AND ASKED HIM WHEN HE COULD HAVE THE CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS REMOVED, I TOLD HIM THAT IF THE DEBRIS WAS NOT REMOVED I WOULD HAVE TO OPEN A CASE AND ISSUE A NOTICE OF VIOLATION TO HAVE IT REMOVED. OWNER STATED IT COULD BE DONE BY THE WEEKEND. I ASKED HE CONTACT ME WHEN COMPLETED AND THIS WOULD ALSO HELP ABATE ANY CONCERNS FROM THE NEIGHBORS. I WILL FOLLOW UP ON 512 N CHEROKEE ON 1/09/2023, BUT AGAIN AT THIS TIME THERE ARE NO VIOLATIONS AT 510 N CHEROKEE AVE. INSPECTOR MOVES TO CLOSE CASE. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE. |
