09/06/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial Scheduled VISITED SITE, FOUND 2 NEW MANAGERS IN THE OFFICE, THEY INFORMED ME THAT THE PREVIOUS MANAGER HAD BEEN LET GO AND THAT NEW MANAGERS ARE GOING THRU PREVIOUS CASES THAT WERE INCOMPLETE OR NOT TAKEN CARE OF, I ASKED IF THEY HAD ANY INFO ON UNIT #11 FOR A/C NOT WORKING PROPERLY, MANAGER STATED THE PEOPLE DOING THEIR A/C WORK JUST LEFT AFTER TAKING CARE OF 3 OTHER A/C MATTERS, MANAGER CONTACTED THEM AND STATED THEY COULD BE BACK BETWEEN 2 AND 3 TO LOOK AT UNIT 11. I ASKED THAT BEFORE THEY LEAVE THE PREMISES A/C PEOPLE CONTACT ME DIRECTLY, MANAGEMENT WAS GIVEN MY BUSINESS CARD. A ASKED IF UNIT 11 WAS CURRENT ON RENT, MANAGER STATED THEY OWE AUGUST AND NOW SEPTEMBER. I THEN WENT TO UNIT 11 AND ASKED IF ANY ONE HAS BEEN BY LATELY AND SHE STATED NOT FOR A MONTH THAT A/C CONTINUES TO BE COOL IN THE MORNING AND ABOVE 85 DEGREES IN THE EVENING. OCCUPANT STATED THEY WERE BEHIND ON RENT BUT DID CALL AND INFORMED MANAGEMENT THIS MORNING AND EXPLAINED THEY WOULD BE LATE ON PAYMENT, OCCUPANTS MENTIONED THEY ARE WAITING ON A IRS PAYMENT. I EXPLAINED IT MAY BE DIFFICULT TO HELP THEM BECAUSE ON NON PAYMENT BUT LET THEM KNOW THAT A/C PEOPLE WOULD BE BY BETWEEN 2 AND 3 AND ALSO ASKED OCCUPANT IF SHE WOULD ASK A/C TO CALL ME ONCE THEY DETERMINED WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. BEFORE LEAVING I CHECKED THE THEROMOSTAT, IT READ 75 DEGREES. MY FIRST INSPECTION READ 67 DEGREES, AND THE SECOND WAS ABOVE 83 WILL WAIT TO HEAR FROM THE A/C COMPANY.
