07/24/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial Scheduled VISITED SITE, SPOKE WITH MANAGER FIRST WHO STATED THEY HAD RECEIVED THE COMPLAINT AND HAVE ALREADY SENT SOMEONE TO LOOK AT THE PROBLEM BUT FOUND NO PROBLEMS AND WAS SUGGESTED THAT THEY CLEAN THE VENTS AND DUCTWORK. MANAGER STATED THAT HAS BEEN SCHEDULED. I THEN WALKED OVER TO THE OCCUPANTS UNIT #11. I WAS ALLOWED INSIDE BY THE OCCUPANT, I FOUND THE THERMOSTAT READING 67 DEGREES AND IT DID FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE INSIDE THE UNIT. THE OCCUPANT THEN COMPLAINED ABOUT THE HOT WATER HEATER AND STATED THEY CANNOT GET HOTWATER FOR SEVERAL MINUTES. I INFORMED THEM IT WAS NOT ON MY COMPLAINT BUT THAT I WOULD INFORM THE MANAGER. I LEFT THE UNIT WENT BACK TO THE MANAGER ASKED THEY GET A A/C PERSON BACK OUT TTO CHECK THE UNIT AS IT STAYS COOL DURING THE DAY BUT HEATS UP TO 84 DEGREES IN THE EVENING AND I WAS SHOW A PICTURE OF THE THERMOSTAT DURING THE DAY, I ALSO ASKED THEY HAVE A PLUMBER CHECK THE HOTWATER HEATER. I FEEL IT IS NORMAL FOR WATER FIXTURES TO TAKE SEVERAL MINUTES FOR THE HOTWATER TO HEAT UP. THERE ARE NO ISSUES AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE
