06/01/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial Scheduled VISITED SITE, SILVERBELL NURSERY, I FOUND A RELATIVELY NEW PARKING AREA, NEW WROUGHT IRON FENCE AND 2 GATES. I SPOKE WITH THE OWNER WHO STATED THEY HAVE NOT CHANGED ANY THING BUT DID HAVE TO SUBMIT A DEVELOPMENT PACKAGE FOR THE PARKING AREA AND NEW WROUGHT IRON FENCE ALONG THE FRONT AND GATES, ALONG WITH THE NEW LANDSCAPE AROUND THE PARKING AREA. I RESEARCHED ENERGOV AND THRU PRO FOUND A DEVELOPMENT PACKAGE HAD BEEN SUBMITTED DP-14-0801 (2024) INCLUDING THE PARKING, FENCE, SITE PLAN AND REVISED SITE PLAN. ALL ISSUES HAD BEEN APPROVED, OR PASSED. REVISED SITE PLAN ALSO PASSED FROM 2017. THE BUSINESS HAS A GARDEN AREA, PROVIDES ROCK AND GRAVEL, AND PAVERS AND COMPLETES THEIR OWN LANDSCAPE PROJECTS. ALSO FOUND ON THE SITE PLAN THE NEW WROUGHT IRON FENCE ALONG THE FRONT OF THE PROPERTY, EXITSING CHAIN LINK FENCE ALONG THE REAR OF THE PROPERTY AND WOOD FENCE ALONG THE NORTH SIDE OF THE PROPERTY TO KEEP PEOPLE FROM LOOKING INTO THE NURSERY AND GROW HOUSE AREA. OUTSIDE THE FENCE ON THE NORTH SIDE WAS A COMMON AREA, A CONCRETE WASH, AGAIN COMMON AREA AND THEN A WALL AROUND THE SUB DIVISION NORTH OF THE NURSERY, ALSO RUNS ALONG THE NORTH AND SOUTH SIDES. THE NURSERY BACKS UP TO SELF STORAGE WALL BUILT MANY YEARS AFTER THE ORIGINAL NURSERY. ALSO THE SUB DIVISION TO THE NORTH CAME IN AFTER THE NURSERY WAS ORIGINALLY ESTABLISHED. ALL PERMITS FOR THE NUSERY HAVE BEEN APPROVED, RESIDENTIAL AREA CAME IN AFTER THE NURSERY AS WELL. LASTLY C/E DOES NOT HAVE THE JURISDICTION TO TELL THE OWNERS OF THE NURSERY THAT THEY MUST RAISE THE HEIGHT OF THE FENCE WHEN ALL PERIMETER FENCING HAS BEEN APPROVED. C/E HAS NO ISSUES WITH THE NURSERY. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
