03/22/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial Scheduled VISITED SITE, A RAINY DAY AND I DID NOT LOCATE A PLANTER OR RETAINING WALL ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE PROPERTY, I LOOKED THRU THE FRONT GATE AND WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE EITHER IN THE REAR YARD FROM MY VANTAGE POINT. GATE WAS LOCKED AND I WAS UNABLE TO CONTACT THE OWNER / OCCUPANT. I DID CHK MAPS AND FOUND A PLANTER IN THE REAR YARD THAT ABUTS THE EAST WALL OF THIS PROPERTY AND A SEPERATING WALL FOR THIS PROPERTY AND THE TOWNHOME TO THE EAST. THE PLANTER DOES NOT REQUIRE A PERMIT, HAS BEEN THERE SINCE 2005, BUT MAY REQUIRE PERMISSION FROM THE NEIGHBORING OWNER TO THE EAST. THIS IS ACTUALLY A CIVIL MATTER BETWEEN PROPERTY OWNERS. I DID TRY CONTACTING THIS PROPERTY OWNER BUT NUMBER HAD BEEN TURNED OFF. I DID FIND THE OCCUPANTS NUMBER, CONTACTED HER, GAVE HER MY INFORMATION AND EXPLAINED THE COMPLAINT AND ASKED IF SHE WOULD HAVE THE OWNER CONTACT ME. INSPECTOR WILL MOVE FORWARD WITH CLOSING THE CASE.
