Arrived and work was being done on building a new structure on a vacant lot. Has permit for the work being done and did not get the special permit for work being done at night. Were on site and setting up to pour the floor in one section. The work was going to be stop due to lacking the permit. The supervisor for the contractor who is from out of state was not aware of the permit requirement and was given permission by the inspectors from Planning and Development Service Department. Did go over that a permit is needed with approval from the City Manager to work at night. Did call Director Carlos De La Torre to go over the situation on the site with the concrete trucks loaded and and more are loading up. Carlos did give permission to go with this pour and to get the permit before the next night pour. Did get with the supervisor and the foreman to let them know that the pour can continue tonight and get the permit. They will be sending the schedule on night pours and schedules on the wall panels to be built and poured to have a training on the tilt panels being done. Was on site with inspector Lopez. RV. |
