01/31/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial Scheduled VISITED SITE, DRIVE TIME CAR LOT, I FIRST WALKED THE PROPERTY BY MYSELF, THE PARKING AREA WAS VERY CLEAN WITH QUITE A FEW CARS. THE PROPERTY WAS LINED WITH A 3 FT BLOCK WALL, THERE WERE SHRUBS AND TREES ON ALL SIDES OF THE PROPERTY, I COULD SEE THE SIDEWALK AREA HAD RECENTLY BEEN CLEANED AND RAKED. THE SHRUBS WERE NICELY TRIMMED AND THE TREES CUT 8 FT ABOVE THE SIDEWALK. THERE WAS MINOR DEBRIS THAT EITHER BLEW ONTO THE PROPERTY OR LEFT BY THE MANY HOMELESS THAT FREQUENT THE AREA. THERE ARE USUALLY 10-15 HOMELESS HANGING OUT AT THE BUS STOP. THE SIDEWALK AREA WAS CLEANER THAN MOST. I THEN WALKED THE PROPERTY WITH THE MANAGER AND EXPLAINED THAT THE BUSINESS IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING THE SIDEWALK AREA TO THE STREET SO THAT WHEN LANDSCAPE CLEAN UP COMES TO RELAY THE MESSAGE TO THEM, MANAGER STATED THEY DO COME TWICE A MONTH. HE ASKED ABOUT CUTTING TREES DOWN I I INFORMED HIM HE WOULD NEED TO GET PERMISION FROM THE CITY FIRST AND THEN MOVE FORWARD OR HE COULD TRIM THE TREES WAY BACK AND UP. MANAGER WAS GIVEN SEVERAL CARDS AND INFORMED THAT IF HE NEEDS TO FALL TPD TO CALL THEM FIRST AND THEN ALSO CONTACT C/E AS WE MAY GET OUT QUICKER THAN TPD TO AID IN WHATEVER THE PROBLEM MAY BE. THERE WERE NO VIOLATIONS AT THE TIME OF MY INSPECTION. THE PROPERTY AND SIDEWLAK AREAS WERE FAIRLY CLEAN . I HAD NO ISSUES. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
