| 06/19/1999 | 06/04/99 SITE VISIT/INSPECTION MADE DUE TO EMERGENCY CALLOUT BY TPD. INSPECTOR M. PADILLA STATES ON CALLOUT THAT DWELLING IS A WELL KNOWN DRUG HOUSE, THAT WAS CONDEMNED IN THE PAST. THE UNIT WAS WIDE OPEN AND OBIOUSLY USED BY DRUG USERS. WMJ WAS ORDERED TO SECURE STRUCTURE AND INSPECTOR ALSO RECOMMENDED THAT DEMOLITION WOULD BE A GOOD CHOICE FOR THE DWELLING. RETURNED CALLOUT TO INSPECTOR ON 06/19/99 FOR COPY OF NOTICE & ORDER INDEMNIFICATION. 12/02/99 LEERAY HANLY WENT TO SITE ON REFERRAL FROM RENTAL ASSESSMENT TEAM. HOUSE IS OCCUPIED BUT MOST WINDOWS ARE BOARDED UP AND THERE ARE VISIBLE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS AND SANITATION PROBLEMS. PERSON INSIDE CLAIMS THAT OWNERS NEPHEW LIVES IN HOUSE, BUT WOULD NOT ALLOW ENTRY FOR INSPECTION. 12/03/99 INSPECTORS HANLY AND SALDATE REVISITED SITE AND FOUND SEVERAL TPD OFFICERS AT SITE. TPD WAS THERE FOR A DRUG COMPLAINT (CASE #9912030217 OFFICER PACHECO). AT THIS TIME THE PEOPLE INSIDE ALLOWED ENTRY FOR INSPECTION. THE DWELLINGS ELECTRICAL IS HAZARDOUS; THERE IS NO MEANS OF ESCAPE IN CASE OF FIRE; THE REAR PORCH IS BEING USED AS A BATHROOM; AND THE KITCHEN CEILING IS COVERED WITH SOOT DUE TO LACK OF PROPER VENTILATION. FOR THESE REASONS THE HOUSE WAS CONDEMNED AND TEP WAS CONTACTED TO REMOVE THE METER. THE BUILDING HAS BEEN POSTED "CONDEMNED" AND "NO TRESSPASSING" AND THE DOORS |
