08/21/2022	INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT	VIDAL	Approved	Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and units were starting to clear and were checking for hot spots. Fire Investigator were done with the checking for cause and were leaving the site. The fire was in the rear porch and burned into the house. The fire burned through the roof trusses and was collapsing in the living room and the kitchen area. The electrical and the gas were removed at the meter due to the amount of damage of the fire. The condensation line and the freon line were damaged and bent due to the heat of the fire in the attic area. The flooring has standing water approx. 3" deep in the living room, kitchen and the front entry to the house. Holes were made in the ceiling in several areas to check for the extension of the fire in the attic. Has burning and smoke damage to the trusses away from the fire area where it burned through the roof. Had a 9' x 8' sliding glass door that the glass broke due to the heat. 25% of the rear porch has burned rafters and sheathing with weak spots where started to burn through the sheathing. The living room area has no trusses due to burned. The owner not able to secure the site and gave permission to call the City of Tucson contractor to have the property secured. Arcaiden Industries called to the site to secure the house. The owner signed the paperwork on site and Redcross was coming to the site for placement. Did place a Do Not Enter on the front window. RV.

FIRE DAMAGE TO BACK PORCH, ROOFING SYSTEM IN LIVING AND KITCHEN COLLAPSED. FIRE, SMOKE AND WATER DAMAGE TO THE CEILING, WALLS, FLOORS. ELECTRICAL, HVAC, PLUMBING AND MECHANICAL SYSTEM. OWNER UNABLE TO SECURE HOUSE. BACK SLIDDING DOOR WINDOW BROKEN OUT FROM FIRE. BACK SLIDDING DOOR AND AREA BY FRONT DOOR AND LIVING ROOM BOARDED UP TO PREVENT ACCESS TO DAMAGED COLLAPSED ROOFING AREA. OWNER PROVIDED WITH PERMITS REQUIRE NOV, IDEMIFICATION, EMERGENCY NOTICE TO VACATE NOV. HOUSE POSTED DO NOT ENTER.
08/23/2022	INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE	VIDAL	Approved	The house is vacant and secured with the owner will be working with the insurance company and getting a contractor to have the repairs done. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
