Arrived and the units were starting to clear and fire investigators on site to check of cause. T.E.P. Removed electrical to all of the units in building #15. Did check 7-units to have the electrical tuned back on to units not involved in the fire. Unit #1099 was the only unit not turned back on and the meter was turned off by T.E.P. While checking the units did find smoke in the units and #2099 needed to call the fire unit back to have the fan turned on into the unit to remove some of the smoke. Did open all the windows and sliding glass door to air out the unit. The tenant was not on site due to was at work and the maintenance supervisor called her to let her know. The maintenance supervior showed to the property and signed the paperwork and willl be securing the site. The tenant removed some of the items out of the unit and was going to the daughters house and Redcross was called for assistance for placement and clothing due to the daughters clothes was burned in the fire. No structual damage to the wood frame structure, electrical removed at the meter, no gas to the unit, heating and cooling will have to be checked due to in the fire area, broken windows, doors damaged by the fire in west bedroom and the bathroom, drywall burned or heavy smoke damage, flooring has standing water with some carpet in areas. The window above the burned unit has cracked glass from the heat of the fire. RV. |
