08/02/2022 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved The office called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and the fire was being worked on as active fire. The fire was in the hood ductwork and kept re-starting. A vent/inspection hole was cut on the roof to check where the smoke and flames were coming from. The area below the ceiling area has no damage from the fire but some areas have water damage. The drop ceiling has been damaged where pulling down the tile to check the areas of the fire. The electrical and the gas was removed at the meters due to the amount of the damage of the fire. The management was given permission to get the food from the freezer and the refrigerator that was not damaged from the fire and taken to another location. Did post Do Not Enter on the front and side windows of the parking lot. The management signed the paperework on site when showed to the site. Foam was used and the interior of the building has a large layer of foam on the floor with water. The management was going to get squeezes to remove the standing water and foam out the doors and dry the floor out. The management will be securing the building once the floor has been cleaned. RV.
08/03/2022 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The building is vacant and secured and the owners will be working with the insurance company and getting a contractor to make the needed repairs. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
