07/05/2022 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved The office called that T.F.D. on site with solar panels giving to much electricity. Arrived and the units have cleared the site and the fire captain from T.F.D. was still on site and working with the Sherriff Department on resulving the issues with the batterys in the panel for the solar panels getting hot. The batteries were expanding and than giving a smell when getting hot. Pima County Maintenace from Facility was already on site and have checked the batteries and will be calling the instatller to come and check the damaged batteries that have been disconnected in the panel. The solar panels are OK and have several canopies for parking with the collectors and banking into the panels that have the battery issues. Due to being owned by Pima County and already have the staff for maintenance looking into the issues, I will be closing the case at this time. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
