07/28/2022 T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-11(e) PLUMBING SYSTEMS. (1) Dwelling units shall be provided with one or more bathrooms equipped with a water closet, lavatory, and either a bathtub or shower. The number of water closets and lavatories for commercial buildings shall be determined by the International Building Code based on the use of the building. Each sink, bathtub and shower shall have hot and cold running water as necessary for its normal operation and use.

The cooking area must be provided with a sink separate and apart from any bathroom sink or lavatory.
