Arrived and no one on site and found T.E.P. on site waiting for to check if the meter was going to be pulled. The meter was left on and was coming from a 3-Phase from the pole. Did have a conduit about 9' up and has some heat but nothing has tripped on the panel on the south side of the building. Did find some disconnect on the north side that have been turned off and will leaves those off and the tenants or the owners can turned those disconnects back on. Did find 2-doors kicked in and not able to lock due to the damage to the locking devices. Was able to lock double door with latches that were on the bottom floor. The interior of the building has smoke and found where the walls were checked for fire in the walls due to finding hole made on the south walls of drywall. The fire was a homeless camp in some Oleanders on the south side against the building. Has some fire damage to the fascia and the rafter tails where the fire was. No fire damage to the interior of the building. Not able to locate a owner and called Arcaiden Industries to the site to secure the doors. No N.O.V. done due to the building is vacant and being worked on. Will leave a card on the plywood. RV. |
| 06/21/2022 | INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE | VIDAL | Approved | Have been in contact with the owner and will check on the doors that were boarded up and the fire damage in the rear of the building. The owner was trying to turn the power back on and was having trouble with turning back on. Did let the owner know that has some other panels in the rear of the building and need to chec those if they were turned off. Did let the owner know that T.E.P. did not turn off the power due to I was on site with T.E.P. and I ordered to leave the power on at this time. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV. |
