06/17/2022 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved The office called that T.P.D. on site with a car into building. Arrived and the units still on site due to still an active case. The vehicle was moved back into the parking lot and the driver was being held in a vehicle for testing. Was given permission to have the area check and also to have the area secured. Did talk to the owner of the business and they will be securing the area. The glass was broken on a store front window and the doors are still opeable. The metal frame was pushed into the store and was able to push it back into place and was bent but able to still secure the plywood to the metal frame. Nothing structual was damaged and once the area is cleaned up and the window secured with plywood the store will be able to re-open. The owner was on site and signed the paperwork and will call when ready to have checked. The interior was in the process of being cleaned up and did ask on open food and had none and will not be calling the Health Department. No electrical damage in the area and all is working. Did have the car bumper that needed to be flipped over and the spikes re-installed and will be done once the investigation is completed. Did go over on securing the opening and the owner was going to get the plywood to secure. Will wait for the call that the area is cleaned up and the window secured. RV.
06/17/2022 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The owner called at 4:30 PM and the area is cleaned up, all the storage racks put back in place and the window is boarded up. The owner was given permission to re-open and the glass company will be coming to the site to measure for replacing the glass and frame at a later time. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
