06/14/2022 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and the units were clearing and the fire investigator was completing the investigation. The fire started in an area where a window AC unit was installed in a window. The area was a class room and the contents burned in the room. Has heavy smoke damage through out the other rooms. Some windows were broken to vent the area of the smoke. One door was burned and removed due to coming apart. Was not able to find an owner or a rep. for the building and called Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the building secured. The fire was going along the ceiling areas in the connecting class rooms and damage to the drywall. Some windows were cracking from the heat of the fire. Were able to lock the other doors and will be securing once the board up is completed. The electrical and the gas were removed at the meters due to the damage of the fire. While doing the board up a sister for the owner of the business showed to the property and called the owner to show up at the property. The husband signed the paperwork and were going to leave the doors opened for the owner of the business. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front windows. RV.
06/21/2022 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The building is vacant and secured. At this time the case will be closed and the insurance working the claim and getting a contractor to do the work. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
