05/30/2022 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Was sent to the wrong address, 9490 E. Pima St. and had to call communication to get the correct address. Arrived and all the units had cleared and the fire investigators were on site and completed the investigation. The fire started on the rear porch and a total lost and burned into the house. 2-vent holes cut on the roof in the living room and the south bedroom. The wood siding on the exterior has burned on the porch side. The overhang was damaged past the porch area where the rafters ends and plywood has damage from the fire. Heavy smoke damage through out and smoke detectors need to be replaced and placed in the correct location due to behind the doors at the header height. The electrical and the gas meter were removed at the meter due to the damage of the fire. Holes in the walls and ceiling to check for fire in the area in different area. Windows are burned or cracked due to the heat of the fire. The owner has been in contact with the insurance and was not able to have the property secured and the owner gave permission to have the City of Tucson contractor secure the house. The Redcross was on site for placement. Did place a Do Not Enter on the front window and the owner signed the paperwork. RV.
05/30/2022 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT TIDWELL Approved EMERGENCY CALL OUT BY TFD: ATTACHED 30X12 WOOD FRAMED, REAR PATIO, IS A TOTAL LOST. THE RAFTERS AND SUPPORT MEMBERS HAVE BEEN DESTROYED. THERE WERE 2 RAFTERS THAT WERE NOT CONNECTED WITH JOIST HANGERS. 2 WINDOWS IN THE LIVING ROOM WERE DESTROYED AND ONE WINDOW IN THE BEDROOM WAS DAMAGED. THERE IS ONE 3X4 INSPECTION HOLE IN THE LIVING ROOM CEILING. THE WOOD SIDING TO THE REAR WALL IN THE LIVING ROOM BURNED AND ONE AREA HAS A 2X8, EXPOSED AREA. THE BEDROOM NEXT TO THE LIVING ROOM HAS A 3 1/2X6 INSPECTION HOLE TO THE CEILING AREA. THERE IS SMOKE DAMAGE TO WALLS AND CEILINGS THROUGHOUT THE UNIT. THERE IS WATER DAMAGE THROUGHOUT THE UNIT TO THE TILE, CARPET AND WOOD SLATE FLOORING. ELECTRICAL: MULTIPLE DAMAGED OUTLETS FROM WATER INTRUSTION. THERE IS EXPOSED WIRING IN THE PATIO AND LIVING ROOM AREAS. THERE WAS MULTIPLE ELECTRICAL DEVICES THAT WERE DAMAGED IN THE PATIO AND LIVING ROOM AREA. PLUMBING: SW GAS PINNED MECHANICAL: HEAVY SMOKE THROUGH OUT THE UNIT. REMARKS: PERMIT REQUIRED FOR REPAIRS, THE UNIT WAS CONDEMNED, UNFIT TO OCCUPY.
