| 08/16/2022 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | VIDAL | Approved | Tony from T.E.P. was on his way to the site due to the electrical was removed in Feb. 2022 for non payment and was on at this time. Arrived and was confirmed that the electrical was on due to the lights were on on the outside of the house and the AC window units were on. Had a person in the house and had to knock several times with no answer and than knocked on the windows and finally got a answer. He was asked to come to the door and we talk to him on the electrical being on and should be off due to lack of payment. Was given permission to enter the house and look at the service panel in the rear of the house and found where the meter was tuned off at the meter and the cover for the T.E.P. side was removed and wires were placed under the meter from the hot side to the panel bars. The wires were stranded 16 ga. and was a black and green wire coated used. The wires were screwed to the bottom where the screw located on the panel side and wrapped around the hot side for the meter. The wires were cut at the pole due to had a smart meter and was not booted at this time. The meter was removed also at this time. Did check the water meter and had a pad lock placed on Friday and was removed and the house had water at this time. Did talk to the person in the house and he denied cutting the lock on the water meter and placing the wires on the electrical panel. Did go over that citation were going to be issued to him or someone on the property that has control on what happens on the property. Did let the person Carlos know that the house is going to be secured at this time until a owner or representative can be located and confirm that the person can remain in the house. The gas was pinned until the electrical can be turned back on. The gas passed the line test and the survey and can be turned back on with out inspection. Arcaiden Industries was called to the site to have the windows screwed shut on casement windows through out, the rear door was boarded up, the opening to the washer and dryer room was also boarded up, 2-doors were screwed shut on the storage room and the furnace room. The front door was screwed shut and went over with the person that will need proof of approval that he can remain on the property. Will need to make contact with the owners or representative for the owner or legal papers stated that he can stay on the property. Did place Do Not Enter on the front and rear of the house, and Carlos signed the paperwork. T.P.D. did show when signing the paperwork and they took over the conversation with the 2-people removing items from the house. Did place some peices on the rear gate to prevent entry through the gate. RV. |
