03/21/2022 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GOODMAN Approved VISITED SITE, MET WITH TPD INVESTIGATORS AND OFFICERS WHO STATED THEY WERE ORIGINALLY CALLED OUT FOR A CHILD 1 1/2 YRS OF AGE WHO OD'ED ON FENTYNAL. WHEN INSIDE FOUND THE HOUSE FULL OF STOLEN ITEMS AND ADDITIONAL OFFICERS WERE CALLED TO THE SCENE. TPD NOTICED THERE WAS NO WATER, BATHROOM TOILET WAS BACKED UP, CEILING DRYWALL REMOVED FROM THE BATHROOM WITH EXPOSED RAFTERS AND IN THE S/W BEDROOM DAMAGED DRYWALL. MY INSPECTION ALSO FOUND MINOR ELECTRICAL ISSUES SUCH AS DAMAGED OUTLETS, NO OUTLET OR SWITCH COVERS AND LIGHTING FIXTURES NOT COMPLETED, SMOKE DETECTORS MISSING. ALSO FOUND BOARDED WINDOWS. INTERIOR SANITATION WAS AN ISSUE AS WELL, BUT NOT TERRIBLE.THERE WERE THREE PEOPLE LIVING IN THE HOUSE, THE ELDERLY OWNER, HER DAUGHTER AND GRANDDAUGHTER AND BOYFRIEND. THE OWNER WAS GOING TO STAY WITH HER SON, THE DAUGHTER AND GRANDDAUGHTER WERE TO STAY WITH DAUGHTERS BOYFRIEND THE GRANDDAUGHTERS BOYFRIED STAYING WITH HIS MOM AS ALL WERE INFORMED THEY COULD NOT STAY INSIDE THE HOUSE UNTIL THE WATER WAS RESTORED, BATHROOM CEILING COMPLETED, MINOR ELECTRICAL ISSUES ABATED, AND SMOKE DETECTORS PROVIDED AND INTERIOR SANITATION ISSUES ABATED. I LATER SPOKE TO THE OWNERS SON WHO WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ABATING MOST OF THE ISSUES, THEY WERE DISCUSSED WITH THE SON AND INFORMED HIM ISSUES WERE ALSO ON THE NOV AND INCLUDED EXTERIOR ISSUES AND JMV'S ON THE NOV. EMERGENCY VACATE NOV WAS ISSUED AND SIGNED FOR BY THE OWNER, A PAMPHLET WAS PROVIDE FOR HELP WITH UTILITIES AND THE UNIT WAS CONDEMNED UNTIL ABATEMENT ISSUE WERE COMPLETED. ALL OCCUPANTS WERE INFORMED THEY COULD NOT BE ON THE PROPERTY UNLESS THEY WERE CLEANING UP OR ABATING ISSUES OR THAT THEY COULD BE ARRESTED.
04/25/2022 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE GOODMAN Approved INSPECTION FOUND ALL YARD AREAS AND ABUTTING SIDEWALK AREA HAD BEEN CLEANED. NO TRESPASSING SIGNS WERE PLACED ON THE FRONT FENCE AREA. INSIDE ALL ELECTRICAL OUTLETS HAD BEEN REPLACED OR REPAIRED, UTLET COVERS PROVIDED WERE NEEDED. DRYWALL CEILING IN BATHROOM AND S/W BEDROOM PATCHER OR REPLACED. LIGHT FIXTURES WERE COMPLETED AND ENTIRE HOUSE HAD BEEN CLEANED OUT. ALL C/E ISSUES HAVE BEEN ABATED. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
