My apt flooded yesterday contacted manger and my toilet and tub is not in a working order for Over 24 hours and manager still has us out with no working toilet or shower. Manager says it’s going to take a while for it to get fixed. My apartment smells like sewer. Their are feces still in my toilet 07/19/2022 AM Issue still has not been ressolved

MANAGERS/ MAINTANENCE HAVE SINCE CHANGED HANDS. CHAMBERLAIN PROPERTY MANAGEMENT AT THE TIME DID HAVE A COMPANY COME OUT AND SNAKE THE DRAINS, I FLUSHED THE TOILET SEVERAL TIMES AND HAD NO ISSUES. I FILLED THE TUB, IT DRAINED VERY SLOWLY. THE COMPANY THAT SNAKED THE DRAINS TOLD THEM THEY FELT THERE MAY BE BROKEN PIPES BUT THAT WAS NEVER VERIFIED. NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM REFUSES TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE ISSUE. OCCUPANTS STATED THEY ENDED UP CLEANING THE APT THEMSELVES. THE APTMENT COMPLEX IS OLD BUT HAS BEEN WELL TAKEN CARE OF OVER THE YEARS. PRESENT ON SITE MANAGER APPEARS TO TAKE COMPLAINTS AND SENDS ISSUES TO REGIONAL MANAGER. I TRIED CONTACTING THE REGIONAL MANAGER IN PHOENIX AND LEFT A MESSAGE, WILL TRY ONE MORE TIME. A NOV WAS ISSUED FOR THE PLUMBING SYTEM TO AGAIN SNAKE THE TUB, AND IF NECESSARY REPLACE ANY BROKEN SEWER LINES. NOV WAS ISSUED AND SIGNED FOR BY THE MANAGER ON SITE WITH A 10 DAY ABATEMENT PERIOD AND I INFORMED THE MANAGER TO FIND A PLUMBER AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE OF THE SHORT TIME FRAME. |
07/21/2022 | INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE | GOODMAN | Approved | REVISITED SITE, MET WITH MR ROOTER TECHS WERE JUST ENTERING UNIT 3, I SPOKE WITH THE OWNER OF MR ROOTER WHO INFORMED ME THAT THEY WERE ACTUALLY SCOPING THE LINES OF ALL UNITS IN THE 1215 BUILDING AND THE LARGER PROJECT WILL INCLUDE SCOPING THE LINES, MAKING NECESSRY REPAIRS AS WELL AS SCOPING AND REPAIRING THE MAIN SEWER LINE THAT RUNS ALONG THE NORTH SIDE OF THE COMPLEX, DUE TO MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS FROM HE BUILDINGS ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE COMPLEX. THEY WILL SCOPE THE LINES FOR BUILDING 1215 FIRST MAKE REPAIRS AND MOVE ON TO THE NEXT BUILDING. OCCUPANTS IN UNIT #3 HAVE ALREADY MADE PLANS TO MOVE IN 2 WEEKS. TODAY I FOUND THEY HAVE STARTED BOXING UP THE UNIT. I LATER SPOKE WITH THE OCCUPANT WHO INFORMED ME THAT THEY NEED TO BE OUT BY THE END OF JULY, HAVE ALREADY FOUND ANOTHER PLACE TO MOVE TO, WILL KBE KEEPING THE KEYS TO THE UNIT AND WILL TURN THEM IN ON THE 31ST OF JULY. REPAIRS WILL BE MADE TO THE SEWER SYSTEM, AGAIN ALL UNITS BEING SCOPED, AND REPAIRS WILL BE MADE AT ONE TIME. ALSO I HAVE BEEN ADVISED BY THE REGIONAL MANAGER THAT RENNOVATIONS TO ALL UNOCCUPIED UNITS WILL BE TAKING PLACE SO THAT UNITS ARE MODIFIED. INSPECTOR WILL MOVE FORWARD WITH CLOSING CASE. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE. |
