02/14/2022 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT G00DMAN Approved VISITED SITE, MOLLOHAN DR IS A PAVED STREET TO A CERTAIN POINT. THE PAVED SECTION STOPS AT THE 1920 &1939 ADDRESSES. THE ROAD CONTINUES ON FROM THE PAVEMENT ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE ROAD AS A DIRT ROAD ELEVATING UPWARDS TO THE NEXT ADDRES 1967 W MOLLOHAN DR AS A DIRT ROAD. THE ADDRESS 1967 IS CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION UNDER PERMIT #T21CMO1720, HILLSIDE CURRENTLY BEING CUT AWAY. AGAIN AT THE END OF THE PAVEMENT YOU CAN TURN LEFT DIRECTLY INTO THE DRIVEWAY AT 1920 OR DRIVE LEFT ONTO THE ROAD/DRIVE FOR 1939. I SAW THE MAILBOX THAT ALLOWS MAIL SERVICE TO STOP AT THE END OF THE PAVED ROAD WITHOUT HAVING TO CONTINUE ONTO THE 1939 DRIVE AND THEN HAVE TO TURN AROUND. THIS IS NOT A CODE ENFORCEMENT ISSUE AS A MAILBOX DOES NOT REQUIRE A PERMIT HOWEVER IT IS A UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE ISSUE AS THEY HAVE GUIDELINES AND REGULATIONS FOR BUILDING AND PLACEMENT OF MAILBOXES. CODE ENFORCEMENT REALIZES THE THE CONVIENENCE OF THE CURRENT LOCATION FOR THE MAIL CARRIER BUT DOES NOT HAVE THE FINAL SAY OF WHERE IT CAN BE PLACED OR HOW IT SHOULD BE BUILT. CONTACT USPS!!
