12/30/2021 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | GOODMAN | Approved | I VISITED SITE MET WITH THE MANAGER AT THE OFFICE AND GOT A BRIEF UPDATE OF WHAT WAS GOING ON, SHE EXPLAINED THAT WHILE TRYING TO LOCATE A LEAK IN THE PLUMBING THE PLUMBERS BROKE A GAS BECAUSE TREE ROOTS WERE RAPPED AROUND BOTH THE PLUMBING AND GAS LINES AND WHILE DIGGING AND PULLING UP SOME TREE ROOTS DAMAGED THE GAS LINE. MANAGER PUT ME IN TOUCH WITH THE REGIONAL MANAGER WHO HAD THE CONTRACTOR INFORMATION FOR ALL THE CONTRACTORS. I TEXTED THE REGIONAL MANAGER WHO STATED SHE WAS GOING TO PUT ME IN TOUCH WITH THE REGIONAL FACILITIES MANAGER. WHILE WAITING I LOCATED AND DROVE TO TRAILER UNIT 151 AND WHILE IN ROUTE A FOUND SEVERAL PEOPLE WALKING THE TRAILER PARK CHECKING METERS AND GAS LINES AND SPOKE WITH ONE OF THE WORKERS WHO EXPLAINED THEY WORKED FOR LIBERTY/GANDY PIPELINE THEY WERE IN THE PROCESS OF SHUTING DOWN THE GAS LINE AND SHECKING THE GAS LINE AND METERS FOR LEAKS AND THEN THEY WOULD BE CONDUCTING A PRESSURE TEST. THEY DIRECTED ME TO THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY WHO WAS ON SITE AndCOULD BE FOUND AT THE SITE OF THE LEAK. I MET WITH MR GUNDY WHO STATED THAT WHEN THEY ARRIVED ON SITE AND LOCATED THE DAMAGED LINE, THEY CONTACTED THE CORPORATION COMMISSION DUE TO THE GAS BEING A MASTER METER SYSTEM, INFORMED THEM OF THERE FINDINGS AND WERE FOLLOWING DIRECTION OF THE COMMISION TO START TO MAKE REPAIRS AND WERE INFORMED THEY WOULD BE REQUIRED TO SHUT DOWN THE GAS TO THE ENTIRE PARK AND BEGIN CHECKING METERS AND GAS LINES FOR LEAKS. HE STATED THEY HAVE BEEN ON SITE FOR APPROX 7 HOURS. THEY REPAIRED THE LEAK WERE SEVERAL HOURS AWAY FROM TURNING GAS BACK ON AND RUNNING THE PRESSURE TEST. AT THT TIME THEY WILL CONTACT THE CORPORATION COMMISION WHO WILL MEET THEM ON SITE TO FOLLOW UP WITH THE PRESSURE TEST. I THEN CONTACTED MATT HAZELTON OF TEP HE INFORMED ME OF THEIR INVOLVEMENT AND ONCE LIBERTY/GANDY GETS THE OK FROM CORPERTION COMMISION TO TURN THE GAS ON S/W GAS WILL TURN THE GAS TO THE PARK ON FROM THEIR SIDE SO THAT LIBERTY GANDY CAN RESTORE GAS TO THE PARK. I WAS INFORMED BY LIBERTY/ GANDY THAT PLUMBERS WERE ON SITE MADE TEMPORARY REPAIRS TO THE WATER LINE, LINE AND REPAIRS WERE EXPOSED AND PLUMBERS HAD LEFT TO PICK UP MATERIALS NEEDED TO MAKE THE FINAL REAPIRS. I CONTACTED RAM PLUMBING AND SPOKE TO OWNER ERIC WHO INFORMED ME THAT ALL OF THERE PLUMBERS HAVE TAKEN A CERTIFICATION CLASS GIVEN BY TRINNY AT DSD AND FROM THE INFORMATION GIVEN BY TRINNY THEY WOULD NOT BE REQUIRED TO GET A PERMIT BECAUSE OF THE DEPTH AND CONNECTIONS REQUIRED AT THE EMERGENCY SCENE. I EXPLAINED TO ERIC THAT THE SITUATION MAY BE DIFFERENT BECASUE OF THE BROKEN GAS LINE AND I ASKED THAT ALL REPAIRS BE LEFT OPEN AND THAT HE CONTACT DSD AND SPEAK WITH JUAN GARCIA OR CLAYTON TREVYLLAN TO DETERMINE IF A PERMIT WOULD BE REQUIRED AND THAT I WOULD FOLLOW UP ON MONDAY 01/03/22. RAM PLUMBING STATED THEY DO HAVE A APA ACCOUNT WITH DSD. I CONTACTED CLAYTON TREVYLLON TO DETERMINE MYSELF IF A PERMIT WAS REQUIRED. LEFT A MESSAGE WITH CLAYTON. |
