01/26/2022 T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-4 PERMITS REQUIRED Unless otherwise exempt pursuant to section 301 of the Administrative Code, as adopted by reference per section 6-1 of this Code, or pursuant to any other ordinance or statute, no building, structure or building service equipment regulated by this chapter or by the technical codes adopted by the city shall be built, erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, moved, improved, removed, converted or demolished unless a permit first has been obtained from the building official in the manner provided in the administrative and building codes adopted by the city. The purpose of a permit is to ensure that all construction is inspected by qualified City of Tucson personnel as directed by ordinance to verify compliance with city codes. Failure to obtain proper permit with inspections and approvals shall deem the construction to be unsafe.

The north structure was previously a work space on the north and south end and a porch in between, the original structure has been modified to include two apartments, walls is being moved other walls added for the bedrooms, plumbing, electrical and mechanical, windows and door have been added for each unit, insulation in the exterior walls is questionable, dry wall and stucco added. The south structure on the main house has also been modified, the rear porch been added, interior walls have been moved, bedroom added, plumbing, electrical and mechanical has been changed or added, windows and door has been changed or added, interior drywall and exterior stucco added or changed. Stop work order posted on both structures. City of Tucson is going to require a full set of working plans, combo permit for the type of work including but not limited to electrical, structural, mechanical and plumbing. }
