09/23/2021 T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-4. PERMITS REQUIRED. Unless otherwise exempt pursuant to section 301 of the Administrative Code, as adopted by reference per section 6-1 of this Code, or pursuant to any other ordinance or statute, no building, structure or building service equipment regulated by this chapter or by the technical codes adopted by the city shall be built, erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, moved, improved, removed, converted or demolished unless a permit first has been obtained from the building official in the manner provided in the administrative and building codes adopted by the city. The purpose of a permit is to ensure that all construction is inspected by qualified City of Tucson personnel as directed by ordinance to verify compliance with city codes. Failure to obtain proper permit with inspections and approvals shall deem the construction to be unsafe.

09/23/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved No one answered the door. Did call the phone number and talk to the daughter of the owner of the mobile home. Has a wood frame porch that was added and than rooms have been added to the east side of the mobile home. The rooms have no electrical and are currently using extension cords. Have rooms that have been added to what appears to be a porch than the rooms added at later times. The rooms have no electrical, no plumbing, cooling and the son of the owner is living in the back rooms. Did talk to the daughter on site and the son has been asked to leave and hasn't. No one was in the rear rooms and appears to be in the mobile home at this time. Has a wash room in the front of the house that has been added and has an extension cord to get the electrical to the room from the panel. Plumbing has been added for the drain for the washer and has a dryer also in the room. Will do N.O.V. RV.
10/20/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The owner called that the work was done and wanted the area checked if in complaince. Arrived and the area was cleaned and the walls were removed and left an area for a storage room. The porch is back to the oringal when built and has no rooms for someone to stay in. The new owner of the mobile home park will be replacing the porch at some time and went over that a permit will be required to be re-built. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
