08/11/2021	INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT	VIDAL	Approved	Communication called that T.F.D. was on site with a laundry room fire. Arrived and the units were clearing the site and the fire investigator were on site checking for cause. The fire was behind the dryers and appears to be from the lint in the rear of the dryers. S.W.G. was on site and check the gas line due to was damaged during the fire and being put out. The gas was removed at the meter for the pool area only. The electrical was removed at a main breaker on the exterior of the building for the pool area only. The fire was contained to the laundry room only and no damage to the apartments around the area. Drywall was removed to check for fire in walls and ceilings and the wood framing was OK on walls and the rafters. The drywall has heavy smoke damage and may be removed to have replaced. The dryers and the washer machine are contracted and will be removed to make the needed repairs. The manager was on site and signed the paperwork and the maintenance was on site and secured the area once the investigation was completed. RV.
