08/11/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house flooded. Arrived and the units were still on site and had a scupper that was plugged with trash and debris and not allowing the roof to drain and the roof filled up with water. The water started to drain through the skylights and the vents for the exhaust fans in the bathrooms. The owner took the family to a hotel than came back to meet at the site. The water level was from 4" to 1' deep on the roof. T.F.D. was able to clear the scupper and let the water drain to the side of the house. The interior of the house has water on the floor in the living room the hallway and going into some of the other rooms that connect to the hallway. The owner signed the paperwork and was able to leave the electrical on at this time and was going to leave the lighting off at this time. The owner was talking to the insurance on the damage and the room they got to stay in. The owner will secure the house once he gather some items and talking to the insurance. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window. RV.
08/12/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The house is vacant and secured and the owner is working with the insurance on getting the work done. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
