08/08/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.P.D. on site with a car into the house. Arrived and the units were still on site and the owner has been transported to the hospital to check her out of injuries. The car hit a wood frame wall with wood siding on the exterior and drywall on the interior. The wall has plumbing and electrical in the wall for a washer machine and a dryer. Has a wood cabinet that's wedged over the washer machine and the dryer and not able to open one of the doors. Has a 3' door with a metal security door and has been pushed and the wall has been pushed in approx. 16" into the room. The vehicle was in the carport when hitting the wall. The water is not leaking at this time and the son in law has been advised that when the vehicle is moved back that the water lines may break when the wall goes back into position. Was not able to move the vehicle back due to not able to find the keys. The damage was contained to the washroom area and all the other walls are OK. The electrical was left on and the son in law will check once the vehicle is moved back away from the wall. The house will be able to be occupied at this time due to no other damage to the other parts of the house. The owner has died and the wife is living in the house. The son in law signed the paperwork and will be securing the area if needed once the vehicle is moved out from the wall. RV.
08/12/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved Talk to the daughter of the owner and they are talking to a General Contractor and will be meeting on site tomorrow. The area is secured and no other damage once the vehicle was moved back from the wall. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
