08/06/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved The office called that T.P.D. on site with a car into a house. Arrived and the units were still on site and has a van into the west side of the house by the carport into the living room and kitchen area. The wall was metal studs with wood siding on the exterior and drywall on the interior. There was romex wiring in the wall damaged and was cut and taped to have the electrical turned back on. The wall was supporting 2-wood beams and the owner has provided metal adjustable posts to support the beams. One for the carport and the other is for the living room. The wood post for the front beam in the carport has been removed and a metal adjustable post was installed to support that beam. The owner gave permission to call the contractor to have the area secured due to unable to secure. There is a wall inbetween the living room and the kitchen that has a hole in the drywall with a electrical outlet that will need to be check and the wiring will need to be check due to in the middle of the metal stud where crushed. The front has masonry walls and appears to be no damage but will need to be checked. The owner was on site and signed the paperwork and was working with the tenants to find a place to stay or ask if they had a place to stay.
08/12/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The house is vacant and secured with contractors calling on issues needed to do the repairs. At this time the case will be closed and the owner is working with the insurance on getting the work done. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
