07/14/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved The office called that that the roof caved in. Arrived and no one home and was able to observe where the roof covering was blown off the roof. The unit is a duplex and has damage to both units. Did call the tenant and he came to the site to open the doors to the units. The items have been moved out and taken to storage. This has damage to the SE bedroom at the ceiling where the paint and the texture has bubbled and hanging. At this time the drywall is still intact to the rafters. The electrical was removed due to has forcast for more rain and the roof is not protected. The floor has water puddling on the floor. The tenant was going to lock the doors when he is completed removing items from the unit. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window. The tenant signed the paperwork and posted the N.O.V. to Vacate also on the front window. Did call the owner and was aware of the damage and was calling company to check if they can look at the damage to make the needed repairs. The owner was advised of the electrical being removed. RV.
07/15/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The unit is vacant and secured and the owner will be working with the insurance company and on getting a contractor to make the needed repairs. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
