06/23/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved T.P.D. called that they are on site with a owner in the house where a fire was on 4-14-21 and has no utilities. Arrived and the units were still on site and were trying to find a place for the owner to stay. The fire damage all rooms except the living room and that's where the owner was staying on a couch. The neighbors were giving electrical with an extension cord. Did meet with the neighbor and did advised that the meter can be removed if this continues. The house has been cleaned of the fire debris but no work has been done. The roof leaks due to raining when on site. Did call the supervisor to have the house secured due to the owner not able to secure the house. Was given permission and called Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the property secured. Did have the owner sign the paperwork of N.O.V. to Vacate due to the owner was staying on the property. Did go over if caught again that he may go to jail with being arrested. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front and rear of the house. The owner has no insurance for the repairs to be done. T.P.D. made contact with the daughter and they came and picked up the owner and took him to a motel. The Redcross has been called to check if they can assist on placement for the owner. The house is secured and call the other inspector Valdez to let him know on the incident on the property. RV.
07/01/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The owner has no insurance and not sure how the house will be repaired. The house is vacant and secured and at this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
