06/09/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GOODMAN Approved I VISITED SITE, I FOUND 3 LARGE PARCELS OWNED BY ONE FAMILY, THE OWNER OF 2529 S MISSION OWNS THE NORTH AND SOUTH PROPERTY, A BROTHER OWNS THE MIDDLE PROPERTY. I KNOCKED ON THE DOOR OF 2529 S MISSION BUT RECEIVED NO ANSWER, I DID LEAVE A BUSINESS CARD IN THE FRONT DOOR. THE HOUSES WERE BUILT IN 2000 UNDER PERMIT. I DID FIND A R/V PARKED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE HOUSE NEXT TO A 6 FT DIVIDING WALL AND BEHIND IT WAS A SHED BUILT OUT OF SAME BLOCK AS THE HOUSE. THE PARCELS FOR THIS PROPERTY ARE VERY LARGE. THE PARCEL IN FRONT ALSO OWNED BY THE FAMILY IS VERY CLEAN AND WELL KEPT. THE AREAS SURROUNDING THE HOUSES ALSO VERY CLEAN AND WELL KEPT. THE PARCELS FOR EACH HOUSE ARE VERY LARGE WITH QUITE A BIT OF LAND BEHIND THE HOUSES, EACH PARCEL SEVERAL ACRES. BEHIND 2529 I DID FIND A TRACTOR THAT APPEARED TO BE IN USE. I FOUND 2 STORAGE CONTAINERS AND HORSE CORRALS AND A LARGE TRAINING AREA FOR THE HORSES IN THE VERY BACK. FOR THE MOST PART THE AREA WAS VERY CLEAN MORE SO THAN THE NEIGHBORS TO THE NORTH AND SOUTH. I LATER RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE OWNER, WHO STATED THEY HAD BUILT THE DIVIDING WALL WITH THE NEIGHBOR TO THE NORTH ON THE NORTH PARCEL 17 YRS AGO, THEY HAVE KEPT THEIR R/V STORED ON THE NORTH SIDE FOR MANY YRS AND NEVER RECIVED A COMPLAINT. THE STORAGE CONTAINERS HAVE ALSO BEEN ON THE PROPERTY FOR AT LEAST 15 YRS AND SHE STATED THEY HAVE HORSES AND HORSE CORRALS. THE OWNER THEN MENTIONED THAT THEY ARE IN THE PROCESS OF OF SELLING THEIR LAND TO PIMA COUNTY. PIMA COUNTY IS INTHE PROCESS OF GETTING LAND SUBDIVIDED AND INFORMED THE OWNERS THAT THEY WOULD HAVE UP TO 5 MONTHS TO MOVE THEIR BELONGINGS OFF THE PROPERTY. OWNER STATED THAT THEY HAVE 7 ACRES ELSE WHERE, ARE HAVING THE LAND FENCED SO THAT THEY CAN BEGIN MOVING THE HORSES AND STORAGE CONTAINERS AND ARE PRESENTLY CLEANING THE LAND EAST OF THE HOUSE, USING THE TRACTOR. INSPECTOR MOVESTO CLOSE CASE BUT WILL SPEAK WITH SPERVISOR PRIOR TO MOVING FORWARD.
06/10/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE GOODMAN Approved SPOKE WITH SUPERVISOR MARTIN ROMERO AND EXPLAINED THE SITUATION AND MENTIONED THESE PROPERTIES WERE KEPT VERY CLEAN. MARTIN STATED THAT IF PIMA COUNTY WAS BUYING OUT THE PROPERTIES AND SUB DIVIDING THEN TO GO AHEAD AND MOVE FORWARD WITH CLOSING THE CASE OUT. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
