04/29/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved House is vacant and unsecured. The house has been emptied of the large items from the house. The items in the house has been gone through and tossed around where the house is cluttered. The water was turned off and was on while on site. The water was turned off and place a city lock on the curbstop to leave the water off. The electrical was turned on 4-27-21 and is on at this time. The poperty has a guess house that is detached from the main house. Has a garage /storage room area detached from the guess house and not able to lock due to doors have been brokened. The property is not able to secure due to broken windows or missing doors. The roof has no roof covering and leaks when it rains on the main house. Has a pool and has no water at this time in the pool. Work is being done on the property and some will require a permit. Did check permits plus and found no permits applied or issued for the property. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter in different areas. The owner is sending a maintenance man to the site to secure the property. RV.
04/29/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT MORALES Approved ON SITE AT PROPERTY. SPOKE TO OWNER ON THE PHONE. HE WILL SEND HIS MAINTENANCE MAN TO SECURE THE PROPERTY. CLARK SIGN THE HANDWRITTEN NOTICE AND INDEMNIFICATION. STRUCTURES POSTED UNSAFE TO OCCUPY. NO WATER SERVIC AT THE PROPERTY. THE STRUCTURES WERE NOT SECURED. WINDOWS AND DOORS WERE OPEN.
04/30/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved Went to the site to check if secured. Did find the tenant inside the unit in the rear of the main house. Did talk to the tenant and told here that she can't stay in the unit due to lacking water and the electrical is being removed. The water is off for lack of payment and the electrical is being removed due to lacking the roof covering on the main house. Has exposed wood planks on the roof with tarps that are not secured and blowing where tied down in some areas. There is some electrical work being done on the exterior and interior of the house where wiring is being removed or wiring is being added for added connection. Has wood post with direct burial in the ground and the wood is not being treated. Wood framing or wood planking is being replaced on the roof.
