04/13/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Not able to find a generator and no one answered the door. The area was secured in the rear with a chain and lock and the front door was locked. Did talk to the neighbors and they stating that someone lives in the unit. The electrical has been off since March of 2021 and the water has been off since Febuary of 2021 and has a large balance to pay. Did call the owner of the property and the phone number not working at this time. Will go in the morning to check again. RV.
04/15/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved Went to the property with T.P.D. and inspector Felix Morales and found someone in the unit. Did talk to them and it was the grandson of the decease owner. The father of the grandson is the owners son and is in jail at this time. Did go over that the unit has no water and electrical and not able to remain in the house. Will need to check on the ownership of the house due to has no will. The grandson did sign the paperwork and has a place to go. They did remove some of the items from the house and took with them. Did secure the house with approval from the supervisor Martin Romero. The electrical was removed at the pole due to tampering with the electrical service main panel on the exterior of the house. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window by the front door. The grandson took copy of the N.O.V. to Vacate with him. Inspector Felix Morales left the site and inspector Tidwell came to the site. RV.
